Their fifth album "Hinterland" that so far got great reviews from the metalpress is now available on LP.

Skald "I En Svunnen Tid" M-CD Out now!
Swedish folk metal band SKALD was formed in November 2005 by the two friends Henrik & David who then decided to play folk metal, inspired by old Nordic folklore and the majesty of the Scandinavian nature. Their musical inspiration goes: Otyg, Dia Psalma, Vintersorg, Storm, Big Fish, Falkenbach, Garmarna and Ásmegin. After two demos in 2006 "Sagor från skogstjärnen" (Stories From The Forest's Bog) and "Trolska Vemodsband" "(Trollish Bonds Of Agony) it is time for their debut M-CD "I En Svunnen Tid" (In A Vanished Age). Yxmarder from Blodsrit is guestplaying violin on "I En Svunnen Tid". Limited to 500 copies!

Death/grind band REMASCULATE second album is out on January 28. REMASCULATE was formed in Stockholm in the spring of 2004 with a line up consisting of Micke Strömberg – guitar, Ludvig Engellau – guitar, Johan Bladlund – bass and Martin Persson – drums. In October the same year the band recorded the four song demo “Til The Stench Do Us Part” with Gurra “Patologen” Myrin on vocals. In the spring the following year the band had enough material to record their debut album “Blend In And Juice Them”. Now with Ludvig behind the microphone. Just before the recording Martin left the band but with help of Marcus Jonsson (INSISION, FLAGELLATION, GENOCRUSH FEROX) the album was completed and released in January 2006 by Evigt Lidande Productions. REMASCULATE have so far received great reviews both in magazines and webzines and have been compared with bands such as CARCASS, EXHUMED, NASUM, ROTTEN SOUND and ABORTED. And played with great acts such as DISMEMBER, GRAVE, VOMITORY and CARNAL FORGE.

Unexploded Records is proud to announce our signing with Blodsrit. Ever since the beginning in 1996 Blodsrit have screamed out their uncompromising black metal to the world, not because of some mission, but in despite of interest in anything else. Some might say that traditional and conformed black metal proofs a lack of fantasy or musical abilities, and it might be true, but that haven’t stopped Blodsrit this far. This will be their fifth full length album and the original ideas still remain the same; to present the most pitchblack feelings of the human heart in a shroud of distorted melancholy. Hinterland (2007) will probably, and hopefully, fill you with rejection against the idea of any hope, and the insight that over ten years off experience pays off. The new element this time is the occasional chant of an ancient organ, it was probably needed to fulfil the picture of the hinterland.
